Jacks Secure Second Road Win of the Week

The 19th ranked Chesapeake College Men's Basketball team were back on the road and took a four hour bus ride, as they traveled to Johnstown, Pennsylvania to take on Pennsylvania Highlands Community College.

Chesapeake jumped out to a 39-7 lead over the Black Bears of Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, 12 minutes into the first half. Penn Highlands would cut into the lead before halftime and head into the half down, 45-33.

Coming out of halftime, the Jacks would push the lead back up over 30 and sustain the lead for the remainder of the game.

Five players scored in double figures for the Jacks in the win. La'Shaun Moody led all scorers with a 24 point performance. He added five steals, four assists, and four rebounds. Marquis Hamby added 18 points, four assists, four steals, two rebounds, and one block. Koby Ennals and Cade Campbell both chipped in 13. Elisha Johnson-Dixon contributed an all-around performance with 10 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, three steals, and two blocks. 

That is the sixth win a row for the Skipjacks.  The Jacks will go into next week 14-2, and will have three games next week.
