Skipjacks Women's Basketball Back In Win Column

In a hard-fought battle, the Skipjacks secured a victory after a tough 7- game losing streak, edging out the College of Southern Maryland Hawks with a final score of 66-61. The game represented strong team effort and resilience from the Skipjacks.

Gabrielle Corbin led the team with an impressive 20 points on 9-for-12 shooting and totaled 11 rebounds.  Zakiyah Zimmerman and Ty'Aishah Moody contributed 13 and 10 points respectively, both making 100% of their free throws. Moody also added 5 rebounds to the teams' total. Arianna Woodside secured 9 points, along with 10 rebounds and 4 steals.

The Skipjacks totaled more rebounds than the Hawks, 53-32, demonstrating dominance and passion to win. The Skipjacks resilience and ability to run successful plays ultimately helped them secure this important win.
